Charge d'Affaires Cong Peiwu Talked about the Chinese Economy at the Joint East Asian Studies Conference of the University of Nottingham

      On 5 September, Charge d'Affaires, Cong Peiwu, was invited to attend the opening ceremony of Joint East Asian Studies Conference 2013 hosted by the University of Nottingham and delivered a speech focused on China's economic situation of making progress while ensuring stability. He pointed out that China's commitment to reforms and opening-up will further unleash growth potential and vitality of the China's economy, making it more sustainable and with higher quality. These will in turn create a broader market and space for growth for East Asia and the world at large.

      Established in 2008, the Joint East Asian Studies Conference has been held for six consecutive years, and more than 200 experts and scholars on East Asian from over 10 countries and regions attended the conference this year.
