Recently many friendly British people, overseas Chinese and students, and employees of the Chinese enterprises in Britain have come to the Chinese Embassy in London to express their sympathy and condolences to the earthquake-hit Sichuan Province and victims of the disaster. They have also made gracious donations. From 15 May(weekends included) the Embassy has set up donation desk with donation box and condolence book in the ground floor for people of all walks of life in Britain. Embassy staff is there to receive them and provide help wherever necessary.

The Chinese Embassy in London would like to express its heartfelt thanks to all the people who follow closely and show sympathy to quake victims in China.
