Embassy Spokesperson’s Remarks on So-called “Overseas Police Stations”
2023-04-21 20:20

Question: Recently, British media reported that Britain said that any intimidation on British soil of foreign nationals by China or other states was unacceptable and that it was investigating the matter responding to a media report about a so-called “overseas police station”. What is the comment of the Chinese side?

Embassy Spokesperson: We have made it clear many times that there are no so-called Chinese “overseas police stations”. China adheres to the principle of non-interference in other countries’ internal affairs, strictly observes international laws and respects the judicial sovereignty of all countries. It is important that some from the UK side respect the facts rather than spread false accusations.
