On 11 November 2025, while attending the China-Northern Ireland Economic, Trade and Investment Cooperation Forum, Chinese Ambassador to the UK Zheng Zeguang met with Northern Ireland’s Economy Minister Caoimhe Archibald. The two sides held in-depth discussions on strengthening exchanges and cooperation between China and Northern Ireland in economy, trade and other fields.
