Zhao Leji Meets with President of the Cambodian People's Party and President of the Senate of Cambodia Samdech Techo Hun Sen

On the morning of December 4, 2024, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC) Zhao Leji met with President of the Cambodian People's Party and President of the Senate of Cambodia Samdech Techo Hun Sen in Beijing.

Zhao Leji said that under the strategic leadership of General Secretary Xi Jinping and President Samdech Techo Hun Sen, the building of a China-Cambodia community with a shared future has entered a new era featuring high quality, high level and high standard. China is ready to work with Cambodia to firmly support each other, deepen practical cooperation and expand people-to-people exchanges in accordance with the important common understandings reached by the top leaders of the two Parties, so as to push for greater development in China-Cambodia relations. The NPC of China is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Cambodia's Senate and National Assembly to contribute to the joint building of a China-Cambodia community with a shared future.

Samdech Techo Hun Sen said that China has always treated Cambodia with equality and respect, and Cambodia-China cooperation is of great significance to Cambodia's economic development and poverty alleviation. Cambodia will deepen all-round friendly cooperation with China and firmly push forward the building of a Cambodia-China community with a shared future.
