President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

I. Wang Lutong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Indonesia, replacing Lu Kang.

II. Fang Qiu was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Hellenic Republic, replacing Xiao Junzheng.

III. Ma Shengkun was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Ukraine, replacing Fan Xianrong.

IV. Zhao Xiyuan was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Ireland, replacing He Xiangdong.

V. Lin Ji was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Suriname, replacing Han Jing.
