
On 30 June 2024, the China-UK Cultural Exchange Concert hosted by the China Musicians Association was successfully held at The Duke's Hall in London. H.E. Ambassador Zheng Zeguang together with Ye Xiaogang, Vice President of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles and President of the China Musicians Association, Xiong Wei, Deputy Secretary-General of China Musicians Association and Director-General of the Music Art Center of China Federation of Literacy and Art Circles, David Buckley, Chairman of the Yehudi Menuhin School Board, John Mclean, Chair of the China UK Business Development Centre, Mick Davies, President of the Royal Society of British Artists, Hu Kun, Professor of Royal Academy of Music, and other guests from China and the UK attended the event along with over 300 audience members. As the youngest symphony orchestra in China, the Wuxi Symphony Orchestra performed with exquisite skills innovative Chinese symphonic works - Nine Horses, Laughing in Vernal Breeze, and Amanisa, as well as Mahler's Symphony No.4. The concert, a showcase of the distinctive musical features of the East and the West, the beauty of music and the charm of cultural exchange, was warmly received by the audience.
