In December 2021, the UK edition of Nouvelles D’Europe marked the 10th anniversary of its publication. Ambassador Zheng Zeguang sent his congratulations in a poem entitled “Ten years of grinding sharpens your sword for a brand new voyage you set sail forth”.  He wrote:

 “Ease was not the reason to start.

Original purpose, you hold dear to heart,

That facts are your only stories,

And justice your colours of glories.  

For compatriots you serve heart and soul, 

A bridge you build for communication flow,

Ten years of grinding sharpens your sword,

For a brand new voyage you set sail forth.”

Nouvelles D’Europe was founded in 1983. It is a daily newspaper in Chinese language founded by overseas Chinese in Europe. It is headquartered in Paris and publishes all over Europe. It is the most influential Chinese language daily newspaper in Europe.
